Our story
| Once upon a time there lived a fisherman named August who spent his days at sea. He had a trusty oilcoat that kept him warm and dry even in the most extreme storms. The rock became a symbol of his adventurous spirit and perseverance. It has remained in the family long after he himself and we grandchildren were inspired by his story. |  |

In grandfather's honor and his coats, we decided to start the company Sjödala. Each bag is carefully designed and crafted with the best materials to hold up to all the rigors of a traveling bag, just like August's coat has. |
